Abstract : |
This Tools and Techniques Series publication provides an encyclopedic resource of legal references, methodologies and practical measures and instruments in CD form. It is intended for a broad audience of serious housing and land rights defenders, ranging from field researchers to adjudicators. It takes the user through a logical 10-step process of identifying the normative content of the human right to housing and human rights dimensions of land through knowing the international law norms; identifying affected persons and communities; assigning liability; determining costs, losses and damages in cases of violation. It then proffers a variety of measure toward remedy, assignment of strategies, and monitoring and evaluation of projects and programs. The CD is complete in English, Spanish and Arabic versions. |
